Take a few minutes to better understand how the Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts and pre-tax Commuter Benfefit spending programs can benefit you!

Your entire Health Care Flexible Spending Account Election is available to you on the first day of the plan year! Expenses can be for you, your spouse, and any of your tax dependents, regardless of whose insurance covers an individual. Estimate your expenses.

It isn't just deductible and copay expenses that are covered....eligible expenses include dental work, eyeglasses and alternative care (such as acupuncture and chiropractic services).
The program is easy to manage.  You will need to keep track of your paperwork, but ASIFlex's reimbursement process makes it very easy.

Go Green in 2012

Sign up for account notifications via email and/or text messaging, and/or sign up for direct deposit for all reimbursements.

UPDATED Flexible Spending Account Mileage Rate:

The IRS has declared that the mileage reimbursement rate for medical services provided from January 1, 2012 forward is $.23 per mile. The rate for services provided from January 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011 is $.19 per mile.  For services provided from July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011, the reimbursement rate is $.23.5 per mile. 


Breast Pumps Are Now Eligible:

The IRS recently issued guidance stating that breast pumps are now an eligible expense for reimbursement through your Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Health Reimbursement Arrangement and/or Health Savings Account.  Prior to this guidance, a letter of medical necessity was required in order for these items to be eligible.

Over-the-Counter Drugs:

As of January 1, 2011, Federal regulations require that you submit a prescription in order for over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and medications to be eligible for reimbursement through your Flexible Spending Account, Health Reimbursement Arrangement or Health Savings Account.
